Floor sanding is an activity you have to involve yourself in every few years especially if you have hardwood floors. Floor sanding consists of using three different types of sanders to give you various levels of finish. This includes a drum sander, vibrating sander and an edge sander. The drum sander is a very heavy equipment that will hold a dust bag as well as sanding paper and is used to cut out the the paint splotches, stains and other raised areas on the floor.

The drum sander could be obtained from the tool rental yard. The vibrating sander has a smooth vibrating motion and is lighter than the drum sander. Through its vibrating motion it gives your floor a smooth finish. The edge sander is the final piece of equipment. It will reach the corners of your rooms which couldn’t be touched by the other two sanders and polishes them too. By the time you are done you have a brand new, polished and rich looking floor.
