Tips For Repairing Nail Holes In Walls
Nail holes look ugly on the wall, and before you decide calling someone to come and repair the holes for you, these are some things you can try. Begin by puling out the nails, and then try to push in some papers into the hole. The idea is to keep the holes as small as possible, and papers can be stuffed in, the cut off around the hole. If a paper around the hole is already torn back, you can sand around the hole.
You may also need paint for finishing up once you have tried refilling the hole. If the hole is above a carpet or furniture, cover them with anything to protect them from dripping paint. Small nail holes can be filled with toothpicks, while for larger one you require a putty knife. Suffice it to note that after patching the hole, sanding should commence and done in circular motion to help it blend with the rest of the wall surface and appearance.
