How to build an outdoor fire pit

nullAlmost every one of us loves to sit around a fire on cool nights. If you have also decided to build an outdoor fire pit, drive stake in the ground, tie a string with it and attack a nail or stick around 2 feet away from it. Cut a circle around the stake and mark it with flour or spray paint. Dig a hole around 1 foot deep inside the circle and in the center of the fire pit excavation; dig a hole of around 6-8 inches square and 10-12 inches deep.

Scrape out the hole’s bottom and pour 4 inches of pea gravel to fill in the hole center which will help in drainage. Add around 3 inches of sand on the pea gravel which will prevent the fire from getting spread to the roots. Surround the pit with 2 rows of concrete pavers without using any adhesives. The adhesive may melt down and give off toxic fumes. Having done that, you will be able to sit by your own outdoor fire pit the next chilly night.
