Ampere (AMP): This is a standard unit for measurement for electric current. This is equal to 1 coulomb per second. It actually defines the electrons quantity that moves past a given point inside a circuit in a specific time period. Amp is abbreviation for ampere.
Ballast: It is a device utilized to run HID and fluorescent lamps. It also provides the requisite starting voltage. It restricts and regulates the current of lamp during operation.
Candle Power: It is a measure for luminous intensity for a source of light in a particular direction. This is measured in candelas.
Diffuse: This term is used to describe distribution of dispersed light. It also refers to the softening or scattering of light.
