Brick grill can be excellent addition to a yard. This not only increases the aesthetic appeal and value of your home, but also entertains your relatives and friends. Why you should choose a brick grill is because bricks are more long lasting and durable than other kinds of grills and they also prevent debris and dirt from falling in the pit.
To build a brick grill outdoor, dig a 3×3 foot hole around 10 inches deep and fill it up with gravel. Mix water and mortar and add a 2 inches layer around the 4 inch edge. Place the bricks horizontally on the top of the mortar layer and repeat it until one layer of bricks has been formed around entire inner side of the pit.
Install second layer on inside of the 1st layer and repeat it until the 2nd layer of bricks has been located on the inside of 1st layer of the bricks. Insert 4 metal brackets into mortar on 2 sides of the pit, making sure that the brackets are located across each other, around 6 inches apart. Let the mortar set for 24 hours and then, pour chips into the pit. After that, you can place your grill top on the brackets which should be removed when you want to roast your marshmallows and hot dogs.
